We Moved! Here’s What’s New (and What You Need to Check)
If you’ve been following along for a while, you might have noticed something: our website looks a bit different. That’s not a glitch — we moved.
A little while back, our old site ran into an issue that needed urgent attention. Rather than patch around it, we used it as the push to finally do something we’d been meaning to do for a long time anyway: move to a faster, more reliable platform built specifically for blogs and memberships like ours. We took the old site down and had the new one live in a matter of days. All while on passage from New Zealand to Fiji! 😁
We’ve pulled across every post, every page, and — as far as we can tell — every single member account, exactly as it was. That said, with a move this size, we’d rather ask you to double-check than assume everything is perfect.
A New Way to Log In (No More Passwords!)
One of the nicest changes: you’ll never need to remember a password for this site again.
Here’s how logging in works now:
- Go to the site and click Sign In
- Enter the email address you used to subscribe
- Check your inbox for a sign-in link from us
- Click it — you’re in
That’s it. No password to create, forget, or reset. Each link is unique to you and only takes a moment to arrive.
A Faster Site
Our new host is built specifically for publishing, which means pages should load noticeably faster than before — especially if you’re checking in from a boat with a so-so connection, like we often are.
Please Check Your Account
We believe every membership — Free, Crew, VIP, and Flagship (you know who you are ❤️) — transferred over correctly. But we’re human, computers are computers, and migrations are exactly the kind of thing worth double-checking.
Could you take thirty seconds and check your account here to confirm your membership level looks right? If anything looks off, just reply to this email or reach out to us directly at sailing@svsabado.com — we’ll sort it out right away.
Thanks for sticking with us through the move. Same boat, same crew, same stories — just a smoother ride from here on out.
